I actually have three colors here. They sent a few my way, which is crazy, and i know i know i have been gone for months. I have actually been focusing a lot of my social media efforts on instagram and tick tock, which has been very productive but uh also starting residency like i. I just have less time to allocate to things and also generally just things have been going on. So, im back with like a super quick video, its gon na, be very brief. Its a single product review lets do it here are the three shades i have left to right its light light medium and medium. These shades are deep. They are way deeper than i would predict by the names of the shades yeah like if i were in store picking my own shades and not having them sent to me. I probably would have gone for a fair shade if i had the opportunity to swatch them out and whatnot, but well here are the three lets talk about oxidation. It is real. Here is the light shade that i swatched like five minutes ago. Its had some time to dry, it is definitely darker, and here is like newly freshly out of the tube yeah. So now you have that information. If you just go in store and swatch a shade, be aware that its not gon na look like this, when it dries okay, its gon na its gon na dry down and um get darker, and we also saw this with the original it.
Cosmetics cc cream its it kind of is a thing with all of it: cosmetics, products, their shades, definitely run deeper than you would expect by the categorization of what the shade names are. The light shade for me like i am usually light to light medium. I could not go any deeper than this. This is. This is like the upper limit of what my skin uh could could suit im dumb. So i just filmed the entire application of this product, and i turned on my camera. I had like adjusted the focus and everything and i never hit record so lets. Do it again its like i havent filmed in months or something im gon na, be applying the light shade because it was kind of closest to me and im gon na squeeze out one pump that was kind of a stuttering pump. So i guess well do that and apply that just all over my face using my fingers, because in my everyday life that is how i apply my base products. So um watch another video if you want to see a sponge versus a brush application, but i apply everything with my fingers so thats the way were going. I just applied this, so i know what it looks like and compared to the original cc cream. This coverage is definitely lighter, like the original cc creams coverage is medium to full. This is a nice medium like a nice fluid medium, and i just blended it into this half of my face.
You can definitely see everything i had going on underneath peeking through, but it is a little more even and a little less red, so just going in. On the other side, i have a lot of lets. Not talk about the pimples i have going on. Okay, its been rough, it has been a time in my life but thats, okay and its just part of life, and you just go on to the next day. You might cry the night before and then you just go to sleep and you wake up, and sometimes things are better anyways. Oh my gosh, my forehead is really gleaming, because this light is like really bright. Let me turn it down for a second lights dimmed. Just a little bit so you can see and heres how its looking with one pump over my entire face, which i would say is a pretty thin layer lets say like if i were filming a youtube video which i am i might go in with another half Pump shared between my two cheeks because thats clearly, where i have a lot of uh scars so ill. Just do that. So i can show yall, but this is pretty much how i would wear it in everyday life lets. Do another half pump. Okay, that was probably closer to a quarter pump. This pump is not giving me a nice stream of product, so maybe its because i need to go with gravity a little bit but heres like a tiny speck ill, just put that over my um chin and cheeks, and just pat it in so.
I dont move around everything else. I just applied. Initial application is beautiful. The light actually kind of matches my skin pretty well at least how it looks when its like applied and spread out here. It is all applied and i was actually going to kind of cut the video put on some light makeup. Some blush whatever for a more complete makeup, look and show you what it looks like, but you know what, if youre like me: youre, not wearing blush and bronzer every day anymore, and just for like pretty much realistically how i would wear this product. This is pretty much it like a little bit of mascara and brow gel for work. It is certainly glowy um it. It kind of has the finish of a tinted sunscreen like a tinted sunscreen, its a little wet, looking its pretty dewy um, but i am not opposed to it. Im gon na go out to dinner later and ill put in the description box kind of how it wore and how oily i was by the end of it. Cutting in real quick here, i just walked around my place, looked at different mirrors of different lighting and uh. This is a little more glowy than i am usually comfortable with, so its probably not gon na be my first reach. If im being honest with you uh, i just got back from that dinner. I was talking about and im gon na be real im gon na be honest with yall.
I i had to use a powder before i left, so this is about five hours. After applying the nude glow cc cream and with powder, it really settles in nicely. I was wearing a mask for some of that time. So uh a little bit revved off on my cheeks, its not really um like a grippy formula that wont come off, but i feel like overall, it just settles very evenly into your face. I dont see any like creasing around my nose or anything like that. Granted its only been five hours, but i dont know some foundations man. You see that early on so thats my little check in after dinner. In terms of how this compares to the original cc cream, which i have used tubes of – and i used to really really like um – i dont really like it so much anymore, because it is easy to to spread again with my hands, which is how i normally Apply things, but the original cc cream is a little too like full coverage for me now, and i i have things to cover, we can very clearly see that, but i dont know theres something really like um charming about having your skin shine through, even if its, Not good skin, you know what i mean, but anyways, compared to the original cc cream. This nude glow has lower spf its spf 40 instead of 50., so the filters are all chemical, its homo sole 8.
3 octa sali 4.5 and octokrylane 5.6. This obviously you dont rely on for your spf. We all give that spiel like wear a real spf underneath, and this can just be a nice extra boost. Some other highlight ingredients in here are two percent niacinamide hyaluronic acid and green tea extract, oh the price. This is 42. and it comes with 1.08 fluid ounces, which is like slightly more than the industry standard of one fluid ounce. So its high end in terms of how heavy it feels it is very flexible with my skin, like it doesnt feel at least it doesnt feel like masky. If you understand, but i definitely feel like im wearing foundation, it doesnt feel like a tinted moisturizer at all. Like the wet and wild tinted moisturizer, i really enjoy not quite there like. We all hoped it would be. I hope this video was helpful.
