Illamasqua Hydra Setting Spray Review

Today i have here the ilamasqua hydra setting spray, and this is a product i got in my february, 2022 boxy charm base box and if you have not seen that unboxing video, yet it is up here on my youtube channel this retails for 26 dollars. Oh, its vegan cruelty free. I was really excited to get this because in these cold winter days my skin and my makeup just seems to be drying out like crazy and so a perfect solution to that is a really nice hydrating setting spray to add that moisture and dewyness back into my Skin, as my skin seems to dry out, and the makeup seems to dry out as the day goes on, so i am definitely in that situation right now. So im really excited to see if this lives up to those claims of giving your face a dewy finish. It says this non sticky formula leaves the skin feeling refreshed and moisturized. It also has some nourishing ingredients, its infused with pea, peptides rich in amino acids, so heres what it looks like lets start out by testing the spray bottle. Oh, i, like it my personal preference when it comes to makeup setting spray bottles is i want my face to be drenched. I dont want that light mist where you cant even tell that its on your skin, you cant even feel it. I want my face to actually be soaked and i think this spray bottle is kind of a harsh spray bottle, which is what i like.

Oh i notice a nice smell to it kind of a little perfumey. Hopefully, the smell is not going to be too overwhelming when i spray it onto my face. But what i think im going to do is just spray it on half of my face so that we can really compare the difference and see if it does moisturize the skin. Leave that dewy finish so shake it up. Hold it somewhat far away and lets see. Oh, i oh, i was right about it being a very intensely wet, harsh spray bottle. The smell is not too overwhelming, but i opened my mouth too quickly and got a mouthful of it. I will say it: doesnt taste that bad, actually, not that im gon na want to consume it, but if it does get into your mouth the way it just did for me its not terrible, and i like to just fan the setting spray dry. This does seem to be kind of not going to dry, very quick type of setting spray, and if you can see my face right now, it left so many droplets all over my face like its not just soaked its like created droplets lets see like. Maybe i could take a makeup sponge press it in, but yeah my face is extremely soaked im, like kind of trying to gently rub it in because i dont want to like press it in too hard with a makeup sponge, but just coat my skin okay.

I would say that the setting spray is pretty much dried down set down now and it is a dramatic difference. Look at my side of the face with it versus without it, but even more so, when you look up close, it gave so much hydration to my skin. My skin doesnt look matte anymore. It looks moisturized radiant, glowy dewy, but not greasy. Just like that perfect healthy amount of hydration to my skin wow, like even just looking on my forehead the side with it versus without it. This side just looks glowing and moisturized, and this side looks matte, and this is exactly the skin texture that i am always trying to go for always trying to achieve a very natural, looking moisturized, hydrated, radiant skin finish and gosh. Does this setting spray give that probably the most obvious difference and improvement in my skin and makeup with a setting spray that i have tried, and this came at the perfect time because i have been searching for a hydrating setting spray like this. That actually will moisturize. My skin enough, because a lot of the setting sprays that ive been trying just dont, make enough of a difference like itll feel nice in a moment, but then it dries down and my skin just feels dry again. It doesnt look barely any more hydrated than it was before, and in this case my skin seriously feels freshly like. I guess the term would be refreshed, but its just completely feels fresh.

Like i just washed, my skin did my whole skincare routine, like my skin, is back to its prime moisturized plumped hydrated state and its not going away as im continuing to talk and sit here, its staying just as moisturized and glowing, even as its completely dried down. Now so i love this. I really think this is the perfect setting spray gosh. I think im going to need more of this, so if youve tried this out, please let me know in the comments down below your thoughts on it. I just wasnt sure if there was going to be a hydrating setting spray out there, thats hydrating enough for when my skin and my makeup gets this dry, but i think i have seriously found the solution wow, so yay.
